Laurie Forbes has a career extending back over twenty years in the securities industry, 19 of which were with Morgan Stanley, the global investment banking firm. She serves in a dual role at iNetworks, as Managing Director of the Private Fund, as well as Director of Investor Relations for BioOpportunity.

At Morgan Stanley, Ms. Forbes worked with public hospital groups facilitating bond offerings and debt restructuring, and headed her own team dedicated to the 501(c) (3) marketplace. Ms. Forbes also managed a private client portfolio of $100 million (U.S.), working with non-profit entities and private clients (domestic and international). Ms. Forbes developed asset allocation strategies and investment policy statements for her clients, introduced alternative investments to them, and implemented a variety of strategies developed for each client.

In her tenure at Morgan Stanley, Ms. Forbes was the recipient of several industry and corporate awards.

Ms. Forbes has been an active board member with international 501(c) (3) non-profit groups as well as endowments and foundations, and currently serves on the board, and its finance committee, of the Harper-Hutzel Hospital, a hospital of the Detroit Medical Center. She is also the co-founder and partner of a life sciences firm based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Ms. Forbes brings to iNetworks decades of Wall Street experience, health care industry background, an in-depth knowledge of portfolio construction and securities trading (both debt and equity) and the ability to understand and maintain relationships with high net worth investors over long periods of time.

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A in history and economics, Ms. Forbes also attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for post-graduate education
